On 10 February 2020, Jessica James from Sri Lanka won a full scholarship for studying the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Western Sydney University. She has also been given 1.5 years of exemption from her 4-year Bachelor course, which means she only needs to study 2.5 years to complete her degree program.
Jessica completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) at UPC in December 2019.
In her email to the College, she wrote “I’m greatly thankful to Dr Thuy Mai-Viet and the UPC academic and management team for supporting me through my studying process. UPC has been a wonderful experience for me, assisting and guiding me since the start of my career. I was really happy studying in the college in the past few years and I dearly miss the classes”.
