UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI) NUMBER

What is a USI?  A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number made up of numbers and letters, unique to each student.

This USI allows you to link your previous and future VET qualifications into a single authenticated transcript,, and prevents you from losing your record.

This lets you see all of your training results, from all your providers, while you are studying  in Australia.

A USI Number will stay with you for life, and must be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course you undertake.

You can login to the USI Website (www.usi.gov.au) to create the USI number. Make sure you keep a record of the number and any passwords or questions that you create.
