NSW Government-Funded Training for Holders of 25 Visa Subclasses

The NSW Government, through its Smart & Skilled Traineeship (SSP) Program, provides training subsidies to eligible visa holders and their family members across 25 specified visa subclasses.

Among these, 12 temporary visa types qualify for the program. These include holders of visas 309, 444, 445, 449, 461, 485, 785, 790, and 820, as well as family members of visa holders on 482, 491, and 494.

Two additional conditions apply:

  1. Visa holders must have permission to stay temporarily, work, and study in Australia.
  2. The visa’s validity period must extend beyond the duration of the course.
