On a beautiful spring day in September (03/09), a group of ELICOS students enjoyed an educational trip to The Rocks Discovery Museum and Observatory Hill in The Rocks. The students explored the rich history of Sydney’s oldest neighbourhood, learning about the area’s transformation from its Indigenous roots to its colonial past. At the museum, they engaged with interactive exhibits showcasing artifacts and stories from early settlers. The visit to Observatory Hill offered stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and the city skyline. The trip provided a perfect blend of cultural immersion and historical education, deepening the students’ understanding of Australia’s heritage.
