Tuesday 3rd September 2024 was a fun day for ELICOS students, exploring Sydney in the spring season. Their adventure began with a light rail ride to Circular Quay where they could soak in some sun and fresh air. They first fuelled themselves at Malay Chinese Noodle bar with some delicious noodle soup, then headed to Custom House to view the beautiful multilevel interiors and free photography exhibits. The library, which had an array of contemporary and interesting books, was of great interest to the students. Unfortunately, the Museum of Contemporary Art was closed, so they then strolled around the Rocks, which is the oldest part of Sydney. One of the highlights was watching hard candy being freshly handmade in the Rocks Gallery, which the students had never seen before. In a short space of time, they were able to view the magnificent architecture and sightsee one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
