Combining VET with a bachelor’s degree provides a balance between practical skills and theoretical knowledge, which can be a significant advantage in today’s competitive job market.
Highlights of the Articulation Process
1. Smooth Transfer into the Australian Education System
You will be effectively looked after in a smaller class size of our VET course while transitioning from your home country’s education system to the Australian one.
2. Practical Experience
VET courses provide hands-on, practical experience that is often lacking in theoretical bachelor programs.
3. Competitive Advantage
With a VET background, you have specialized skills and certifications that make you more attractive to employers, both during and after your studies.
4. Increased Confidence
Completing a VET course before entering a bachelor program can boost your confidence by proving that you can succeed in both practical and theoretical aspects of your training.
5. Clearer Career Path
UPC Leadership and Management is the most popular program because it gives you time to identify which specialized field you are most interested in, from leadership and management, tourism and hotel management, to digital marketing, cyber security, and information technology.
6. Financial Benefits
Pathways through VET courses are less expensive than direct entry to university degrees, which can reduce financial stress.
Our higher education (HE) study pathways are designed to ensure that UPC graduates maximize their further study opportunities and complete their degrees at a lower cost.
In general, most Australian higher education providers offer credits to VET students. The number of credit points depends on the similarity of the study fields, the status of both the VET and HE providers, and the work experience of the transfer students.
Australian Higher Education Providers Without Articulation Agreements with UPC
Most Australian HE providers offer credits for VET qualifications, and the amount of credits is published on their websites. If you prefer any particular HE provider, contact them for more information.
