Excursion to the Rocks Discovery Museum and Observatory Hill

On a beautiful spring day in September (03/09), a group of ELICOS students enjoyed an educational trip to The Rocks Discovery Museum and Observatory Hill in The Rocks.
Tuesday 3rd September 2024 was a fun day for ELICOS students, exploring Sydney in the spring season. Their adventure began with a light rail ride to Circular Quay where they could soak in some sun and fresh air.
On a late winter day in August, ELICOS students took a tour to Cockatoo Island, the largest island in Sydney Harbour that has a long and complex history and was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2010.
During Week 4, Term 2, UPC students had been given the opportunity to discover the famous Australian Museum, a scientifically and culturally significant attraction in Sydney.
In Week 8, Term 1, UPC took advantage of Australia’s greatest wonder and shared it with our students, the beach! Arriving by bus, students were able to view Sydney’s famous coastal landscape before alighting at the golden Coogee Beach.
In Week 4, Term 1, UPC students excitedly embarked on a trip to Sydney’s famous large headed amusement park – Luna Park! It was a place where students could experience a day of thrills and joyrides, challenging all the excitements the park had to offer!
